The Freewheelers

A band formed in the early 1990s, who often performed in the Kibitz Room at Canter's. The band released two albums, their self-titled album in 1991 and Waitin' for George (1996) including “Best Be on Your Way,” a song featured on a skydiving soundtrack. ). Luther Russell and the rest of the band members frequented the Kibitz Room at Canter's deli on Tuesday nights during 1992 where they often joined in jam sessions with the early incarnation of the Wallflowers, among other bands at the time.
