The Exploited

Formed in Edinburg in 1979, The Exploited came to be known as one of Britain's most politically outspoken bands. They released more than 25 albums between 1980 and 1999. Although the band members have changed through the years, the lead singer, Wattie Buchan has remained a focal point for the group. The band's strong anti-authoritarian stance has garnered them a large, loyal following in the U.K. In an interview, Jakob Dylan cited them as being a band he really liked:

"I still have framed posters of The Clash, The Jam, The Exploited." (The Guardian 6.26.97)
