“6th Avenue Heartache” is actually a song by the band, The Wallflowers. It was their first single that they have released. This single was released in the year of 1996, and it was off of their album “Bringing Down the House.” This song made it’s spot on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, coming in at number 8. The band’s lead singer actually wrote the song when he was just 18 years old. This is definitely a very pleasant song to listen to. They are based off of real life experiences, that the lead singer has actually gone through while he was in New York. It was about a man that was homeless. He would sit outside and play the same songs every single day. This song is known to be very sincere and heart felt. There are many people out there who just adore this song because they can actually relate to it for personal reasons. The man was gone one day, and his belongings were still there. People the started taking them. This song was a hit on rock radio, and also made the number 10 spot on another rock n roll chart. This is a very great song.
